My name is Ashton Richards. I’m a rising senior studying at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I’ve always loved every medium of artistic expression, including music. As a huge fan of Sabrina Carpenter’s music, her strong visuals are just another aspect of her branding that has inspired me. The way Sabrina and her team have approached the Short n’ Sweet rollout/era, in particular, has been nothing short (ha!) of thorough, cultured, well-researched, cohesive, & simply fun! You can truly feel her dedication and work ethic through everything she produces, thanks to the high standards she sets for every detail. Her passion and attention to detail are palpable.  After I saw the Short n’ Sweet tour in October, I ranted to anyone who would listen about the production and every genius detail, about how it was unlike any concert I’ve ever seen, and made a significant impact on me. 

 

For these reasons, Sabrina has been a significant muse for my art over the last year. I believe my skills could be a beneficial asset to her merchandise or branding. I’ve noticed many times that Sabrina’s fans have had to look elsewhere for merch that matches their needs, as the official website simply does not offer it. Aside from merch, I recall the website had an interactive zodiac sign feature last year. I believe my illustration and concept skills could elevate Sabrina’s brand by contributing to merchandise, interactive features, and general graphics.
